This was a great read!

For a while, I found it challenging to strike the right balance between (1) ensuring that stakeholders' requests are not just 'nice-to-have' but actionable by asking the right questions, and (2) not making them feel like they need to climb a mountain every time they need analytics support.

And its so true, more often than not, by digging deeper into the "why" leads many stakeholders to realize their request wasn't as urgent or important as they originally thought.

I made a small mountain for stakeholders to climb. I designed a 1-min survey that asked them all important questions. Many of them don't submit the survey because they couldn't answer those questions.

Sometimes "smart" friction can be good :)
